Welcome To Mohi-ud-Din Islamic Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mirpur AJ&K

Mohi-ud-din Islamic University Nerian Sharif AJK was constituted in 1999 approved by the legislative assembly of AJK. The act received the assent of the president, AJK on January 12, 2000 and published on January 18, 2000. The Mohi-ud-Din Islamic Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is located in the south east of Mangla Dam in the beautiful city of Mirpur, AJ&K. Mirpur is one of the major cities of AJ&K and is a beautiful blend of old and new civilization, redesigned and built, over Mangla Dam. Mirpur city is situated in the south east of Islamabad at 2 hours' drive and linked with G.T. Road at Dina at a distance of 25 Kilometers the college is located in the industrial area, 5 km from down town. The College is proud of having highly qualified and experienced faculty, including the faculty of Mohi-ud-Din Islamic Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

The institute has embarked with the mission to produce quality pharmacy professionals having Islamic Spirit and values for the welfare of Pakistani nation in particular and the humanity in general.

1. To impart state of the art education to students, who shall become expert in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
2. To disseminate knowledge and emphasize fundamental principles of modern pharmacy.
3. To understand synthesis, development, manufacturing and marketing of medicines.
4. To  develop specific skills in experimental design and analysis of experimental data.
5. To be able to supply medicines to patients in accordance with knowledge, legislation and codes of professional conduct and practice

• Possess the theoretical and scientific knowledge to perform the basic at, applied or clinical level leading to scientific presentations.
• Possess a breadth of knowledge in the cardiopulmonary, musculoskeletal, or neuromuscular specialty areas as they relate to impairment, functional limitation, and disability.
• Possess the theoretical and practical skills required to teach at the professional entry and advanced graduate levels within the academic community
